Blue House

Blue dominates this charming country home: blue sea, blue sky, and blue house. This rural house has a lot of charm, no doubt about it. It is surrounded by beautiful nature full of cork oaks, and the coastline has spectacular beaches. With a bit of luck, you can spot dolphins strolling along. Lisbon airport is 115km away, and the neighboring villages are the fashionable Comporta and Melides.  The house was renovated in 2008 by Sofia, who wanted to respect the Alentejo architecture and decoration, filling this space with lovingly thought-out details. 

In Blue House you will find a very relaxed atmosphere, as it is completely isolated, with all the necessary comforts for a quiet and uncomplicated stay. With its beautiful sunsets, its more than 7.5 hectares, and its nearest beach is only 20 minutes away. The nearest restaurant is 15 minutes away. Please note that the house is accessible by a 1500 m dirt road.

The original house has an outside dining terrace that sits 10 people facing south – built on several intermediate levels, with original “taipa” walls and an outhouse with a large fridge/freezer and washing machine. The kitchen in the house is fully equipped and operational and the dining area inside seats 6 people. There are 4 bedrooms in total, 3 in the main house and 1 in an independent cottage on the grounds. The first bedroom of the main house is built on a mezzanine upon entering the house and features 1 small double bed and one single bed – be aware that this bedroom does not have full privacy due to the mezzanine. There is a second double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom that sleeps 2 guests and a third bedroom with 2 bunk beds that sleep 4 guests, which also has an ensuite bathroom. In the living room, there is a fireplace, a television, and various games.

As a separate unit, there´s a large 6 x 7m lounge area, which is fully open with glass sliding doors onto the garden. It is a lovely space to relax, read, chat, or even sit down for meals – next to it are the outdoor showers and barbeque area.

The property also features an independent cottage with its small intimate terrace, facing east, which features a double bedroom that sleeps 2 and a bathroom and dressing area. In addition, there is an open lounge with a chill-out atmosphere where one can relax, and there are solar-heated outdoor showers and a barbecue. The pool is 50m away, and although it is not very big, it has beautiful views and is surrounded by trees. This place has it all, and we recommend it to both families and friends, and you can also bring your pet.

Note that the house respects all the characteristics of a traditionally Alentejo accommodation.

Es ist umgeben von wunderschöner Natur voller Korkeichen, und die Küste bietet spektakuläre Strände. Mit etwas Glück kann man Delfine beobachten, die dort auf der Durchreise sind. Der Flughafen Lissabon ist 115 km entfernt, und die benachbarten Dörfer sind das mondäne Comporta und Melides.  Das Haus wurde 2008 von Sofia renoviert, die die Architektur und Dekoration des Alentejo perfekt integriert hat.

Im Blue House finden Sie eine sehr entspannte Atmosphäre, da es über alle notwendigen Annehmlichkeiten für einen ruhigen und unkomplizierten Aufenthalt verfügt. Mit seinen wunderschönen Sonnenuntergängen, seinen mehr als 7,5 Hektar und dem nächstgelegenen Strand, der nur 20 Minuten entfernt ist, ist es wahrlich das perfekte Ferienhaus. Bitte beachten Sie, dass das Haus über eine 1500 m lange unbefestigte Straße erreichbar ist.

Das Haus verfügt über eine nach Süden ausgerichtete Außenterrasse für 10 Personen, die auf mehreren Zwischenebenen gebaut ist, mit originalen "Taipa"-Mauern und einem Nebengebäude mit großem Kühlschrank/Gefrierschrank und Waschmaschine. Die Küche im Haus ist voll ausgestattet und funktionsfähig und der Essbereich im Inneren bietet Platz für 6 Personen. Die Unterkunft hat insgesamt 4 Schlafzimmer, 3 im Haupthaus und 1 in einem separatem Häuschen auf dem Gelände. Das erste Schlafzimmer des Haupthauses befindet sich auf einem Zwischengeschoss beim Betreten des Hauses und verfügt über ein Kleines Doppelbett und ein Einzelbett - bitte beachten Sie, dass dieses Schlafzimmer aufgrund der Gallerie keine vollständige Privatsphäre hat. Es gibt ein zweites Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett und eigenem Bad für 2 Personen und ein drittes Schlafzimmer mit 2 Etagenbetten für 4 Personen, das ebenfalls ein eigenes Bad hat. Im Wohnzimmer gibt es einen Kamin, einen Fernseher und verschiedene Spiele.

Als separate Einheit gibt es einen 6 x 7 m großen Wohnbereich, der mit Glasschiebetüren zum Garten hin offen ist. Ein herrlicher Ort zum Entspannen, Lesen, Plaudern oder auch für Mahlzeiten - daneben liegen die Außenduschen und der Grillplatz

Auf dem Grundstück befindet sich auch ein unabhängiges Cottage mit einer kleinen, privaten Terrasse, das nach Osten ausgerichtet ist und über ein Schlafzimmer mit Doppelbett für 2 Personen, ein Bad und einen Ankleidebereich verfügt. Außerdem gibt es einen offenen Aufenthaltsraum mit einer entspannenden Atmosphäre, solarbeheizte Duschen im Freien und einen Grill. Der Pool ist 50 m entfernt, und obwohl er nicht sehr groß ist, bietet er eine schöne Aussicht und ist von Bäumen umgeben. Dieser Ort erfüllt wirklich alle Wünsche und wir empfehlen ihn sowohl für Familien als auch für Freunde. Sie können auch Ihr Haustier mitbringen.

Das Haus bewahrt sämtliche traditionellen Merkmale einer typischen Unterkunft im Alentejo.
