Undoubtedly, the best choice to visit the north-west of Sicily. An exceptional place that combines tranquility and comfort with the hospitality of Stefano and Joseph. You have to discover the incredible breakfasts, the comfort of the rooms with their private terraces together with the garden and pool area. Highly recommended to take the bike and visit the reserve of Monte Cofano and Margerita Bay. Its excellent location also allows you to enjoy the Zingaro Nature Reserve and a good base to also discover the entire area of Erice, Trapani and the Egadi Islands. If you are looking for a peaceful and unique getaway on the less touristy coastline of Sicily, you are in for an unforgettable treat at this authentic Sicilian house, consisting of just 5 rooms, surrounded by chirping crickets and olive trees. Just a few bike minutes away (you can lend their bikes for free), you will find the beautiful sea with marvellous spots to dive in. Yet, a tenderly nurtured garden providing all sorts of resting areas may accommodate those who wish to stay at home. There is even a swimming pool! Baglio Giammacaro indeed already feels like a second home after staying there for just a little while. The air-conditioned, one bedroom apartment is spacious enough for 2 and offers a beautiful patio to glance into nature and perhaps spot their two lovely dogs or the horse. The hospitality of Stefano and Joseph certainly sets new standards. The daily breakfast with fresh fruits and altering specialities from the region is the perfect way to start each day. Furthermore, their warm caring for guests, supportive advice on the region and having laughs together with a glass of wine on the patio has surpassed all our expectations. Their presence makes this beautiful location radiate with joy and adds tremendously to this unforgettable experience of a relaxing holiday. And as we are on the way back home, we secretly browse through our schedule to find the next free week to return.

We loved this place. Warm & very attentive hosts. So relaxed and private. Property is beautifully zoned with gardens wedged between rock outcropping mountainous backdrop on one side and ocean views on the other. Very special place and a great base to visit San Vito, Erice and all the wonderful beaches and crevices nearby you can swim in & explore. Their two dogs chasing airplanes were the best!

My wife and I spent the first four nights of our honeymoon at Baglio Giammaccaro. From the moment we arrived, late in the evening, it couldn’t have been more perfect - Stephano had put a bottle of Prosecco in our room and we drank it under the most glorious, unspoilt canopy of stars. Everything about the accommodation, from the decor to the delicious breakfasts, is considered and charming, as our your hosts. We hope to return some day to enjoy it anew.
