Borgo la Pietraia Country House

we stayed as family 9 nightes at borgo la pietraia and it was one of the best places, if not the best, we stayed in the last years. All rooms have a wonderful view over the coast and the sea and are well cared for and clean. Every single one of the team was extremely friendly and helpful. They gave us perfect tips for our trips round the cilento. The pool is beautiful and they offered a light lunch at the borgo so we could spend the whole relaxing day there. The dinner in the restaurant was delicious. We can highly recommend a stay at this beautiful, peaceful place!

Nice warm room with excellent view of the coastline. Very clean, comfortable and a very friendly atmosphere. Best Dinner we had during our 10- day stay in Cilento , super breakfast , everything worth staying longer.

I stayed with my husband at Borgo La Pietra for a late Summer escape, and it was everything we could have hoped for and more. The location and building are so beautiful - a modern but homely country house nestled in the hillside, with unspoilt views out to sea. The sunsets were breathtaking! Our room was spacious and tastefully decorated, with a private patio. The whole atmosphere was peaceful and although there were other guests staying, we often felt as though we had the place to ourselves. The family run ambience meant that nothing was too much trouble and the owners were delightful, offering advice about how we could spend our days, providing a packed breakfast for our last day, and always being friendly & on-hand. The buffet breakfasts were substantial and leisurely, equally the restaurant on site was very special and we had some our most delicious meals here. Getting away from the hotel itself we explored Paestum and the temple remains, the beautiful sandy beach, walking in the hills and discovering the many coastal towns and villages, which offer incredible home cooked meals. The local seafood and buffalo mozzarella are a must!!

This farmhouse in the hills. Eat Cappaccio was idyllic. The welcome, hospitality, views, food were incomparablye. I am already planning a return trip for more than one night. The chef bowled me over - I had no idea that the cuisine was as 5 star as the accomadations. Far and away th best meal I had on this trip. Bravo!
